We Just Finished Visual Impact Expo 2026 — Here’s How It Went

Publish Time: 2026-09-04     Origin: Jinbao Technology Group

We wrapped up our three-day exhibition at Visual Impact Expo & Connect Conference 2026 yesterday. The show was held at Sydney Showground, and our team spent the last three days at the booth talking with sign makers, printers, fabricators, and distributors from Australia and nearby countries.

It was our first time exhibiting at this particular show, and overall, we were quite happy with the turnout and the quality of conversations we had.

Busy Days at the Booth

From the moment the doors opened on the first day, we had a steady stream of visitors. Many people came specifically because they were looking for reliable PVC foam board and acrylic sheet suppliers.

One thing that stood out was how many visitors wanted to touch and examine the samples. Several printing companies spent quite a bit of time checking the surface smoothness of our advertising PVC foam board. One guy from a large signage company in Melbourne kept running his hand across the sheet and said, “This actually feels flatter than what we’re currently using.” He ended up taking a few samples back to test with their UV printer.

We also had quite a few questions about our PVC cabinet board. A kitchen and cabinet fabricator from Brisbane stayed at the booth for nearly 20 minutes, asking about moisture resistance and screw-holding performance. He mentioned they’ve had issues with edge swelling in humid conditions, so he was particularly interested in that.

Meeting Both New Faces and Familiar Customers

What made this exhibition special for us was meeting both new potential customers and some of our existing ones.

On the second day, a distributor we’ve been working with from the Philippines came by. He had placed two 40HQ containers with us earlier this year. It was good to finally meet him in person. We spent some time catching up, and he mentioned that his customers have been responding well to the acrylic sheets we supplied. He also asked if we could send him samples of our laminated PVC foam board, as he wants to explore that category next.

We also had quite a few new visitors from Australia and New Zealand who had never worked with us before. One distributor from Auckland spent a long time looking at our color acrylic sheets. He said he currently sources from two different suppliers and is looking to consolidate. He took our contact details and asked for a full container quotation within the next two weeks.

Another interesting conversation came from a fabricator in Sydney who was specifically looking for mirror acrylic sheet. He needed it for some retail display projects and wanted to know about the thickness options and protective film. We ended up exchanging WeChat and promised to send him detailed specifications the same day.

Honest Feedback We Received

We received quite a bit of direct feedback during the show. Most of it was positive, but we also noted a few points that visitors raised.

Several people mentioned that they liked the consistency of our white PVC foam board, especially the surface for printing. One print shop owner told us that with some other suppliers, they sometimes see small pits or uneven ink absorption, but our samples looked clean. That was good to hear.

On the other hand, a couple of visitors asked whether we could offer even lighter density PVC foam board for certain applications. We noted that down and will discuss it internally.

The acrylic sheet samples also got good reactions, particularly the clarity of our transparent sheets. One visitor said the transparency looked “very close to glass,” which is exactly the kind of comment we like to hear.

What’s Next After the Show

Now that the exhibition is over, our team is busy following up with everyone we met. We’ve already sent out quite a few sample requests and quotations since we got back to the hotel last night.

For us, the real value of this exhibition wasn’t just the number of visitors, but the quality of conversations. Being able to sit down and talk face-to-face with distributors and fabricators helps us understand what they actually need on the ground.

We’re planning to send samples to several companies in Australia and New Zealand over the next two weeks. Some of them have already confirmed they want to test our materials before placing their first container order.
