Q: Why is this sheet cheaper than Polycarbonate?
A: Acrylic resin (MMA) is generally less expensive to produce than Polycarbonate resin. Additionally, Acrylic is easier to process. For applications not requiring "unbreakable" impact resistance, Acrylic is the smarter budget choice.
Q: Is "Cheap" Acrylic poor quality?
A: Not at JINBAO. We use "Cheap" to refer to our Factory Direct Pricing. We still use 100% Virgin Mitsubishi raw material. We do not use recycled "regrind" which causes yellowing.
Q: Can I laser cut this material?
A: Yes! Cast Acrylic is the best plastic for laser cutting. It leaves a perfectly polished edge. (Note: Polycarbonate cannot be laser cut cleanly; it burns).
Q: What is the MOQ?
A: Our wholesale MOQ is typically 2 tons (one pallet). You can mix different thicknesses and colors in one order.

Why do acrylic sheets in the same market have such different prices? This side-by-side fire test demonstrates how material quality can affect burning behavior.We first tested two low-priced acrylic sheet samples supplied by our customers and purchased from their local market. During the test, the samples produced heavy black smoke and a strong, unpleasant odor. After burning, their surfaces turned completely black.We then tested Jinbao premium acrylic sheet, manufactured using 100% virgin MMA material. It produced fine white smoke with a slight sweet odor.
