Often misidentified as "flexible acrylic," this product is actually Solid Polycarbonate, the only engineering thermoplastic capable of cold bending (curving at room temperature) without cracking. While acrylic is rigid and brittle, JINBAO’s PC sheets offer the ductility of steel with the transparency of glass, making them the superior choice for arched walkways, dome skylights, and riot shields.

Q: Is this "Flexible Acrylic" or Polycarbonate?
A: This is Polycarbonate. We must clarify: Acrylic is rigid. If you try to bend standard acrylic cold, it will snap. Only Polycarbonate offers the flexibility to curve at room temperature safely.
Q: How much can I bend a 3mm sheet?
A: The safe "Cold Bending Radius" is generally 175 times the thickness. For a 3mm sheet, the minimum radius is 525mm (approx 20.6 inches). Bending tighter than this induces stress.
Q: Can you ship these sheets in a roll?
A: Yes, for thicknesses of 1.5mm to 3mm, we can supply long rolls (e.g., 1.22m x 30m) to reduce seams in your roofing project. Thicker sheets (4mm+) must be shipped flat.
Q: Does it scratch easily?
A: Polycarbonate is softer than acrylic. For high-traffic areas, we recommend our Hard-Coated (Abrasion Resistant) PC grade to prevent scratches.
