A: Hard coatings are generally rigid. Cold bending is not recommended for hard-coated sheets as the coating may micro-crack (craze). For curved visors, we recommend our specialized "Formable Hard Coat" grade which can be thermoformed.

Q: How do I cut 1mm-3mm hard coated PC?

A: It can be sheared, sawed, or CNC routed. Laser cutting is NOT recommended for polycarbonate (coated or uncoated) as it produces burnt, yellowed edges.

Q: Is the coating on one side or both sides?

A: We offer both options. 1-Side Coated is cost-effective for displays (coating faces the user). 2-Side Coated is best for windows or visors exposed on both faces.

Q: Does this resist fogging?

A: This specific product is "Anti-Scratch." For face shields, we can apply an Anti-Fog coating on the interior side and Anti-Scratch on the exterior. Please specify "Dual Coating" in your inquiry.
