Standard polycarbonate is tough but easily marred by cleaning cloths or contact. JINBAO's solution applies a high-performance Anti-Scratch Coating (Silicone or Acrylic based) to our ultra-clear 1mm, 2mm, and 3mm sheets. This upgrades the surface hardness from a soft "2B" to a robust "HB" or "F" rating, allowing it to serve as a glass replacement in high-touch applications like instrument clusters and face shields where optical distortion from scratches is unacceptable.
Enhanced Surface Hardness: Resist scuffs, steel wool abrasion, and frequent cleaning, significantly extending product life compared to uncoated PC.

Q: Can I bend this hard-coated sheet?
A: Hard coatings are generally rigid. Cold bending is not recommended for hard-coated sheets as the coating may micro-crack (craze). For curved visors, we recommend our specialized "Formable Hard Coat" grade which can be thermoformed.
Q: How do I cut 1mm-3mm hard coated PC?
A: It can be sheared, sawed, or CNC routed. Laser cutting is NOT recommended for polycarbonate (coated or uncoated) as it produces burnt, yellowed edges.
Q: Is the coating on one side or both sides?
A: We offer both options. 1-Side Coated is cost-effective for displays (coating faces the user). 2-Side Coated is best for windows or visors exposed on both faces.
Q: Does this resist fogging?
A: This specific product is "Anti-Scratch." For face shields, we can apply an Anti-Fog coating on the interior side and Anti-Scratch on the exterior. Please specify "Dual Coating" in your inquiry.

Why do acrylic sheets in the same market have such different prices? This side-by-side fire test demonstrates how material quality can affect burning behavior.We first tested two low-priced acrylic sheet samples supplied by our customers and purchased from their local market. During the test, the samples produced heavy black smoke and a strong, unpleasant odor. After burning, their surfaces turned completely black.We then tested Jinbao premium acrylic sheet, manufactured using 100% virgin MMA material. It produced fine white smoke with a slight sweet odor.
