Extruded Acrylic Sheets are manufactured by a non-stop process. PMMA pellet is fed into extrusion machinery with one or two screw auger systems. As the plexiglass pellet passes through the heated zones, reaches the melting point. The acrylic pellet will change to the liquid stage.
The molten mass is poured into a cone-shaped die, which widens out into the die lips. Under pressure from the screw drive, the molten mass reaches the die lips and pushes outwards along the die lips to produce a molten sheet.
The gap of dead lips is set slightly higher than the required thickness of the extruded acrylic sheet. The continuous transporting band will help to cool down the clear extruded acrylic sheet.
At the same time, Jinbao can emboss a pattern onto the sheet. After cooling down completely, with will perceive a glossy, smooth surface. Next, it will be wrapped with a P/E film for protection. Finally, it will be packed and wrapped for delivery.
