A Frosted Acrylic Sheet is a translucent PMMA panel with a matte surface texture that scatters light. Unlike clear acrylic, which is transparent, frosted acrylic blurs visibility for privacy while still allowing light to pass through.
It is typically produced via two methods:
Matte Casting: The mold itself has a textured surface, creating a permanent, chemical-resistant matte finish during casting. (Jinbao's preferred method for durability).
Surface Treatment: Sandblasting or coating a clear sheet after production.
