Q: How do I join these sheets?

A: Rigid PVC is best joined by Hot Gas Welding (using a heat gun and PVC rod) for structural tanks. For non-pressure applications, Solvent Cement (PVC Glue) works very well.

Q: Is 6mm thick enough for a 1000L tank?

A: For a tank of that size, 6mm is suitable for liners or small compartments. For the main structural walls of a large self-supporting tank, we typically recommend 10mm to 12mm. Our engineers can assist with thickness calculation.

Q: Does it withstand sunlight?

A: Standard dark grey industrial PVC has good UV resistance. For equipment exposed to direct sunlight in tropical regions, we recommend our UV-Stabilized grade to prevent chalking over time.
