Q: What is the difference between PP and PVC sheets?
A: PP has better acid/chemical resistance and higher heat tolerance (up to 100°C) compared to PVC (approx 60°C). However, PVC is easier to glue, while PP must be welded.
Q: Can this PP board be glued or painted?
A: PP has "low surface energy," making it difficult to glue or paint without specialized treatment (flame treatment). We recommend heat welding for structural bonds.
Q: Is your white PP sheet UV stable for outdoor use?
A: Standard natural PP is not UV stable and will degrade in direct sunlight. For outdoor applications, please request our UV-stabilized Black PP grade.
Q: Can I use this for a cutting board?
A: Yes, our food-grade PP is the industry standard for commercial cutting boards because it doesn't dull knives and resists bacterial growth.
