Sometimes the most valuable feedback does not come from a formal survey or a structured review form. It comes from a spontaneous WhatsApp message at 9:43 in the morning, when a customer in the Dominican Republic picks up one of our acrylic sheets, peels back the protective film, and types: "Es enserado y se despega con más facilidad que lo que he trabajado aquí."
"It's waxy and peels off much more easily than what I've worked with here."
That one sentence told us everything we needed to know: our product improvement had reached the workshop floor, and a real fabricator had noticed.
Our Dominican customer is a hands-on fabricator and small business owner based in the Dominican Republic — a market we have been actively developing across the Caribbean region. With a WhatsApp number registered in the +1 (829) area code (Santo Domingo), they use our acrylic sheets for both personal creative projects and professional fabrication work.
They are exactly the kind of customer our distributor network is built to serve: skilled, discerning, and experienced enough to immediately recognize when a material is better than what they have used before.
"El papel... Lo que cubre... Es enserado y se despega con más facilidad que lo que he trabajado aquí. Osea. Es. Bueno."
"The film... what covers it... It's waxy and peels off much more easily than what I've worked with here. I mean. It's. Good."
Our response explained the improvement directly:
"Entiendo lo que quieres decir. Debido a que muchos clientes nos comentaron anteriormente que la película protectora era difícil de despegar después del corte láser, lo cual les resultaba muy complicado, hemos mejorado el adhesivo de la película. Así, nuestro producto no solo ofrece una excelente protección, sino que también es mucho más fácil de retirar."
"I understand what you mean. Because many customers previously told us that the protective film was difficult to peel off after laser cutting — which was very frustrating for them — we improved the film adhesive. So our product now not only offers excellent protection, but is also much easier to remove."
The customer's reply was immediate and genuine:
"Siii" "Y eso me gustó" — "And I liked that""Real" — "For real"
When we followed up to ask whether they had started using our acrylic sheets regularly:
"Si eso veo. Claro. La uso personal. Para mis trabajo. Me gusta mucho."
"Yes, I can see that. Of course. I use it personally. For my work. I like it very much."
The customer's praise for our protective film was not accidental — it was the result of a deliberate product improvement we made in response to direct feedback from fabricators across our global customer base.
Across multiple markets — from Latin America to Southeast Asia — our customers who use CO₂ laser cutters to process acrylic sheets reported the same frustration: after laser cutting, the heat generated by the laser partially fused the protective film adhesive to the acrylic surface, making the film extremely difficult to peel cleanly. Fabricators were spending significant time and effort removing film residue from cut edges — and in some cases, the adhesive residue was contaminating the acrylic surface and affecting subsequent bonding or printing operations.
We worked with our protective film supplier to reformulate the film adhesive specifically for laser-cut acrylic applications:
Parameter | Previous Film | Improved Film |
Adhesive type | Standard acrylic adhesive | Low-tack, heat-stable adhesive |
Peel force after laser cutting | High — often requires tools | Low — peels cleanly by hand |
Adhesive residue after peeling | Occasional residue on cut edges | Zero residue |
Surface protection level | Good | Excellent — maintained or improved |
Film texture | Standard PE | Lightly waxed PE — smoother peel |
The result is a protective film that does its job perfectly during cutting, handling, and transit — and then releases cleanly and easily when the fabricator is ready to install or finish the sheet.
Our Dominican customer noticed this improvement immediately — without being told about it. That is the best possible validation of a product upgrade.
For sign fabricators, display makers, and creative professionals who work with acrylic sheets daily, the protective film is not a minor detail — it is a daily friction point that affects productivity, material quality, and job satisfaction.
Fabricator Pain Point | Our Solution |
Film fuses to acrylic after laser cutting | Heat-stable low-tack adhesive — releases cleanly post-laser |
Film tears during peeling | Waxed PE film — consistent, controlled peel |
Adhesive residue contaminates surface | Zero-residue formula — clean surface ready for bonding or printing |
Film scratches acrylic during handling | Dual-sided protection — both surfaces covered throughout transit |
Film difficult to start peeling at corners | Easy-start corner tab on every sheet |
The sheets our Dominican customer is using for both personal and professional projects are our cast PMMA acrylic sheets — the same product we supply to distributors and fabricators across 120+ countries worldwide.
Property | Specification |

This customer's feedback — and the product improvement that earned it — reflects something fundamental about how we operate at Jinbao Technology Group. We do not wait for formal complaints or quality audits to improve our products. We listen to what fabricators tell us in WhatsApp messages at 9:43 in the morning, and we act on it.
Every piece of feedback from every customer in every market feeds back into our product development process. When fabricators in the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, the Philippines, and Poland all tell us the same thing — we fix it. And when a customer in Santo Domingo picks up our improved product and says "Es. Bueno." — that is the confirmation that the improvement worked.
If you are a fabricator, distributor, or creative professional in the Caribbean or Latin America looking for acrylic sheets that perform as well in your workshop as they do on paper — we invite you to request a sample and see for yourself.
